Perryfields aims to provide pupils with an engaging and enriching experience whilst they attend our school.
Our Perryfields Pupil Charter outlines the experiences and opportunities available to our single registered pupils during their time with us.
Take part in a residential trip or an adventurous outdoor activity session
Use the outdoors to enhance their learning experience e.g. Forest school
Experience a wide range of curriculum enriching activities and experience a visit or visitor for each half-termly theme
Be a part of a whole school trip annually
Learn how to play a musical instrument
Learn a new language
Visit places of worship
Visit and/or experience different places of work, career opportunities and develop a range of life skills
Take part in at least one enterprise activity a year, within school and the local community, raising money for community, charities and school
Take ownership of their own learning
Learn first aid skills
Develop skills for staying safe on-line
Experience cooking a nutritional, balanced meal
Learn the ‘value’ of money in a real context
Have a piece of art work framed and displayed
Learn to reduce, reuse and recycle waste
Visit a theatre to watch a live performance
Participate in at least five different sports, including swimming, yoga and where possible attend local competitions and events representing Perryfields
Take part in a disability awareness raising activities, Anti-bullying and other ‘National’ or Traditional British events
Attend a religious, historical event at a local church or community event in order to raise Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural awareness
